Summary
HomeLab Watcher does not collect personal data or homelab data for the developer. The app has no account, cloud relay, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, tracking, or remote logging service.
Information handled by the app
The app stores its configuration, resource names, observations, and diagnostic information on your device. Credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain. A minimal, credential-free status snapshot may be shared locally with the app's widgets and Apple Watch companion through an App Group.
When you configure a connection, the app connects directly from your device to the endpoint you provide. That traffic is subject to the privacy practices of the system you configure and the network you use. HomeLab Watcher does not relay that traffic through its own servers.
Data we do not collect
- Infrastructure URLs, IP addresses, hostnames, paths, credentials, or response bodies
- Usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data
- Contact lists, location, photos, microphone, Bluetooth, or notification data
- Crash reports or remote diagnostic logs
Purchases
The lifetime unlock is processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple may process purchase information under its own privacy policy. HomeLab Watcher does not operate a receipt server or create an account for your purchase.
Diagnostics and support
If you choose to export diagnostics from the app, the export is created locally and is designed to omit resource names, URLs, hosts, IP addresses, credentials, headers, and response bodies. Review anything you send to support before sharing it.
